About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

direct the work of other system administrators to provide day-to-day system administration
organize and direct the configuration and operation of DLA's Okta
analyze and resolve end user software program and connectivity issues
conduct capacity and performance analysis and provides system configuration change and upgrade recommendations
increase system administrator efficiency and accuracy via the use of automated tools and scripts
develop system administrator procedures, and conduct system administrator training and skills assessment
provide end user training
provide recommendations on technology direction to align with business vision
provide local and remote maintenance support to various operational systems within the DLA Okta footprint
apply advanced technical knowledge of application networking, including load balancing applications, and ensuring fault tolerance
support general maintenance, upgrades, and new installs of servers and applications

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be a U.S. Citizen
five (5) years of overall professional experience supporting Okta environments with progressively higher responsibility in the IT field
demonstrable experience deploying and maintaining Okta environments for large enterprises
well-versed in configuring Okta integrations to work with enterprise technologies like Active Directory, firewalls, APIs, Zero Trust endpoints, etc.
a relevant Okta certification from a nationally recognized technical authority, such as Okta
Must possess IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3) at time of proposal submission
