About the role
- Provide activities related to the administration of computerized databases
- Project long-range requirements for database administration and design
- Design, create, and maintain databases in a client/server environment
- Conduct quality control and auditing of databases
- Advise users on access to various client/server databases
- Design and implement complex databases with respect to JCL and security
- Apply knowledge of database technologies and programming languages (e.g., SQL)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology related field
- Ten (10) years of relevant experience
- IT-II Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3)
- Ten (10) years of experience with database query languages such as Oracle, PL SQL, SQL Server, and MS Access
- Ten (10) years of hands-on experience with Relational Database Management Systems
- Experience with various operating systems and programming languages
- Experience in administering, operating, maintaining, and securing large-scale computer databases with Oracle, SSRS and SQL Server
