About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide in-home therapy services for pediatric patients with a wide range of diagnoses.
  • Engage with patients' families, providing them with regular communication and updates on goals for their child.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including other therapy disciplines, physicians, and nurses, to develop holistic treatment plans that address the diverse needs of each patient.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation that reflects the care provided and communicates changes in treatment plans to the entire healthcare team.
  • Actively participate in care plan with team leads/supervisor to discuss patient progress, share insights, and refine treatment strategies collaboratively.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A current, valid Texas SLP Assistant License (No clinical deficiency needs)
  • Reliable transportation and current auto insurance
  • BLS/CPR certification
  • Pediatric experience is preferred but not required
  • Prefer Bilingual SLPA
