About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform comprehensive evaluations, using standardized tests to determine pediatric patients' needs for therapy.
  • Use your clinical judgment to develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physician's orders.
  • Provide in-home therapy services for pediatric patients with a wide range of diagnoses.
  • Engage with patients' families, providing them with regular communication and updates on goals for their child.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including other therapy disciplines, physicians, and nurses, to develop holistic treatment plans that address the diverse needs of each patient
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation that reflects the care provided and communicates changes in treatment plans to the entire healthcare team.
  • Actively participate in one-on-one meetings with team leads to discuss patient progress, share insights, and refine treatment strategies collaboratively.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A valid, active Speech Therapy license in the state of Texas
  • Current BLS/CPR License
  • Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and automotive insurance
  • Pediatric experience is preferred but not required
  • Prefer Bilingual
