About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for business engineering within the Avaloq systems, working in collaboration with line management to understand business process requirements and identify scalable, innovative system solutions
Develop sustainable integration solutions that automate event-driven, real-time data transfer to third-party systems
Collaborate on integration projects involving continuous, real-time, bi-directional data exchange between client and server using Kafka
Test optimisations and ensure the quality of the end-to-end solution from design through deployment
Ensure continuous updating of the systems

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or Engineering
An Avaloq certification an advantage
Understanding of private banking and its processes
Knowledge of Avaloq Core Banking, its modules and their integration
Knowledge of Avaloq Container Platform Reference (ACPR) and Avaloq Business Event Grid (BEG)
Proficient in OpenShift, OpenAPI, Apache Kafka and .NET
Analytical mindset with attention to detail
Team-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
Ability to assess issues and set priorities
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and switch flexibly between internal and external tasks as the situation demands, whilst always maintaining an open-minded attitude
