About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Preparation of accounting for private equity funds, including capital activity (capital calls and distributions), accruals and investment transactions
Delivery of accurate, error‑free results on time and within specified deadlines
Calculation of fees and preparation of the associated schedules
Review of transaction documentation and related supporting records
Updating waterfall models to reflect performance‑based profit allocations (carried interest)
Performing reconciliations, posting journal entries and managing cash balances
Supporting the year‑end audit in collaboration with external auditors
Close communication with internal and external stakeholders (specialist teams, auditors, legal and tax advisors) to ensure key deadlines are met
Careful review of daily and monthly accounting results

Requirements

What you’ll need

HF (Swiss Higher Vocational Diploma), Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration
CPA is a plus
Solid experience in asset management at a bank, with a large asset manager, or as an auditor in the fund industry
Strong knowledge of private equity and/or hedge funds
Strong accounting‑technical analytical skills with in‑depth knowledge of fund accounting and related processes
Analytical mindset and the ability to work independently as well as in a team
Excellent communication skills and experience interacting with clients and senior management
IT affinity for banking software and proficient user of MS Office (Excel)
Fluent in German and English
