Developer, Avaloq Regulatory Services
coni+partner AGDeveloper specializing in Avaloq Regulatory Services for an international private bank in Zurich. Participating in projects including analysis, implementation, and regulatory updates.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in Avaloq projects across the full lifecycle, from analysis and design to implementation, integration, testing and rollout of business concepts for regulatory services
- Drive development efforts together with stakeholders and implement updates to regulatory requirements and related processes
- Responsible for solution design as well as programming and configuration of solutions for the business and associated peripheral systems, plus testing
- Contribute to project design regarding best practices and support project implementation through agile transformation
- Develop and maintain in-house solutions and interfaces
- Ensure availability of business-critical services and support IT systems with a focus on stability and robustness
- Coordinate with external vendors when implementing new solutions and in cross-functional projects
- Assess newly submitted change requests from a developer’s perspective
- Monitor smooth operations, customer satisfaction, quality improvements and efficiency gains
- Support ad-hoc projects as required.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or Software Engineering
- Avaloq certification is an asset
- Professional experience with Avaloq in a bank or in banking consulting as an IT specialist or application developer
- Relevant experience in Avaloq configuration/parameterization
- Interest in compliance topics such as FinfraG, MiFID II, EMIR, and areas of client, tax and regulatory reporting
- Strong analytical skills combined with a team- and service-oriented approach
- Hands‑on work style, solution-oriented thinking and interest in complex projects
- Attention to detail and ability to communicate professionally
- Systematic, structured and independent way of working
- English and German
