About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for the operation and support of the core infrastructure based on IBM Power Systems and AIX operating systems
Development, implementation and maintenance of AIX-based enterprise systems
Participation in project design and implementation
Automation of routine tasks using Ansible
Provide second-level support
Work on ad hoc projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
ITIL certification is a plus
Strong knowledge of banking core infrastructure and hands-on experience with IBM AIX 7.x
Familiarity with storage technologies such as SAN or GPFS, including IBM PowerVM virtualization environment
Experience with LPAR (Logical Partitioning) and VIO (Virtual I/O Server) as core components of IBM Power Systems virtualization
Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Shell, Python and automation with Ansible
German and English language skills
