About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for providing data analytics and IT services to Group Internal Audit in order to identify or anticipate risks
Preparation of in-depth or rapid data analyses for the planning and execution of risk-based audits
Development of management reports for advanced analytical purposes
Responsible for transparency and quality in quantitative statements regarding master data
Responsible for the development and integration of innovative, data-driven audit approaches
Collaborating on AI projects related to the further development of business intelligence within Group Audit
Close collaboration primarily with auditors, but also with Compliance or Risk Management
Collaboration on training initiatives to promote data analytics awareness
Collaboration on pilot or ad hoc projects.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Data Science, Econometrics or Statistics
Professional experience in a bank and knowledge of its processes and specific characteristics
Experience in data analysis for internal audit or risk management
Interest in working with ETL processes and data pipelines to extract data from various sources and convert it into a standardized format
Experience in working with databases, data analysis tools, dashboards and reporting
Knowledge of programming languages such as Python and SQL
Experience in data visualisation, e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, an advantage
Interest in generating meaningful data from various databases for internal audit projects
Ability to derive precise insights from structured and unstructured data
Analytical mindset with an eye for detail
Team-oriented and cooperative
Open-mindedness and a high degree of trustworthiness and integrity for working with confidential data
Fluent in German and English.
