About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Preparation of regulatory reports on key supervisory metrics for regulatory authorities
Collaboration on capital reporting in accordance with Basel III and the CRR, including analysis and validation of metrics such as own funds, capital ratios, credit risk, market risk, operational risk, large exposures and liquidity
Assessment of the impact of new regulations on capital ratios and risk-weighted assets
Monitoring capital adequacy and ensuring that regulatory reporting processes are robust and fully compliant, including adherence to the COREP framework — the standardized reporting framework for EU banks mandated by the European Banking Authority (EBA)
Maintenance of templates that cannot be handled by standard applications
Monitoring regulatory changes and supporting the integration of those changes into systems and workflows
Coordination tasks between Accounting, Risk and IT departments
Implementation of regulatory changes into internal policies and oversight of full compliance as regulatory standards evolve.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics or Finance
Professional experience in bank accounting, bank audits, or consulting with a focus on regulatory reporting projects
Knowledge of regulatory and supervisory frameworks, e.g. Basel III, CRR or COREP
Knowledge of accounting standards
Analytical mindset with a team-oriented, structured and independent working style
Confident use of databases and data query tools
Ability to meet deadlines independently and to work under pressure
Customer-oriented and reliable approach to work
Good communication and interpersonal skills and a high degree of initiative
Strong MS Office skills
Proficiency in German and English
