About the role
- Co-responsible for planning the bank's financial stability
- Collaborate with regulatory authorities and ensure the bank's adequate capitalization
- Ensure continuity of critical functions
- Prepare and review recovery plans in the event of the bank's financial distress
- Responsible for documentation of the bank's financial stability and resolution planning
- Participate in the bank's internal expert committees
- Ongoing reporting to senior management
- Monitor national and European regulations and implement updates into systems
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Economics or Business Administration
- CFA or CPA is an advantage
- Knowledge of Swiss and EU banking and financial market regulation
- Professional experience at a financial market supervisory authority, a Big Four firm, or in Group Accounting of a systemically important bank
- Interest in regulatory topics (Basel III)
- Analytical mindset with a team-oriented approach and attention to detail
- Comfortable presenting to executive management and liaising with regulators and industry associations
- IT affinity and MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Fluent in English and German
