About the role

  • Assist in the periodic preparation of financial data for regulatory filings submitted to the Swiss National Bank (SNB) and FINMA
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of data on capital adequacy, core capital ratios, and liquidity, and perform quality controls on regulatory data
  • Support the preparation of disclosure reports in accordance with Basel III Pillar 3
  • Prepare ad hoc reports and structured commentary on data
  • Provide differentiated analyses to support strategic decision-making
  • Advise global locations on regulatory reporting, including compliance with internal controls
  • Contribute to the integration of new banking products into reporting systems
  • Participate in the development of tools and processes for regulatory reporting
  • Work on ad hoc projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CA is an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of banking and accounting processes
  • Professional experience in group accounting under IFRS and Swiss GAAP at an international bank, in auditing, or in financial consulting
  • Solid knowledge of regulatory requirements under Basel III (capital and liquidity requirements)
  • Analytical, independent personality with a team-oriented and structured work approach
  • Interest in regulatory reporting challenges and project work
  • Resilience and flexibility
  • Service-oriented with an interest in engaging with demanding stakeholders
  • IT aptitude; proficient with banking software and MS Office (Excel)
  • Proficiency in German and English.
