About the role

  • Support order processing in fund operations within the asset management middle office as a member of a team
  • Monitor and control the execution of operational fund activities, e.g., billing processes, contract management, fee flows
  • Close cooperation with counterparts at custodian banks, transfer agents, fund administrators, tax advisors, etc.
  • Single point of contact (SPOC) for outsourcing management and diverse day-to-day issues
  • Support error tracking and quality management
  • Assist with booking orders in the trading systems
  • Control funds' cash flows
  • Ensure data quality for write-offs, performance shares, side pockets, etc.
  • Support fund structuring projects
  • Manage administrative matters such as general meeting resolutions, changes in management, etc.
  • Prepare regulatory and annual reports and oversee fund taxation matters
  • Collaborate with various departments during due diligence of new investments
  • Assist with implementing fund products in systems until processes are fully established
  • Review and control updated regulatory requirements and investor investment limits in systems
  • Implement risk controls to maintain high data and process quality
  • Communicate and cooperate with various specialists in the Funds department.

Requirements

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Banking & Finance
  • Professional experience in asset management with funds in an operational role
  • Understanding of the fund industry, e.g., fund accounting, fund structuring, custodial and banking services, fund taxation, fund investments, etc.
  • Analytical mindset with a hands-on approach
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage workload efficiently and meet fixed deadlines
  • Independent, detail-oriented working style
  • Willingness to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills and a strong customer focus
  • IT-savvy with MS Office skills
  • German (C2/C1) and English (fluent)
