About the role

  • Analyze the bank's key risks within the overall bank management framework with respect to ICAAP and ILAAP requirements
  • Monitor risk types including market, credit, liquidity and operational risk
  • Contribute to long-term planning calculations for balance sheet, income and capital structures
  • Prepare relevant information for senior management, analyze key performance indicators, produce forecasts, variance analyses and risk reports
  • Develop decision-making inputs for strategic and operational objectives
  • Ensure monitoring of regulatory developments in the context of Basel III and EBA guidelines, risk-bearing capacity (ICAAP) and liquidity management (ILAAP)
  • Support the ongoing development of risk management and controlling processes as well as the early warning system
  • Participate in ad hoc projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Banking & Finance or Economics
  • CPA or ACCA qualification is an advantage
  • Professional experience in banking in areas such as accounting (regulatory reporting), auditing or banking consulting
  • Interest in regulatory topics and a strong affinity for numbers, data and analysis
  • Analytical, team-oriented personality with a structured working style, initiative and high quality standards
  • IT affinity for banking systems and software and confident use of MS Office applications
  • Proficiency in German and English.
