About the role

  • Participate in projects involving analysis, concept design, implementation, integration, testing and rollout of business solutions for portfolio management, trading, payments, taxes, Lombard loans, risk management, etc.
  • Responsible for project design with regard to best practices and implementation during agile transformation
  • Responsible for supporting IT systems with a focus on sustainability and stability
  • Parameterize business solutions in Avaloq and related peripheral systems
  • Coordinate with external providers for the implementation of new solutions
  • Ensure availability of all relevant systems
  • Assess newly submitted change requests from a developer's perspective
  • Coordinate activities in cross-divisional projects
  • Develop and support in-house developments and interfaces
  • Handle ad hoc projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or Engineering
  • Work experience with Avaloq at a bank or in banking consulting as an IT specialist or application developer
  • Strong programming skills (scripting) and knowledge of Oracle SQL
  • Act as a reliable IT partner for an innovative and demanding business
  • Aptitude for conceptual and analytical work and solution-oriented thinking
  • Team- and communication-oriented with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders in dynamic environments
  • Resilient personality with initiative and strong execution skills
  • Systematic, structured and independent working style
