About the role
- Manage fund accounting for private equity funds and prepare investor reporting
- Maintain general ledgers, process capital calls, distributions, and accounts payable
- Maintain fund ledgers, record daily cash transactions, and reconcile intercompany balances
- Manage expense reimbursements according to agreements and perform monthly reconciliations
- Ensure accurate, compliant reporting and deliver timely, high-quality financial data in collaboration with internal teams, fund managers, and auditors
- Prepare and distribute financial reports, partner capital statements, and capital call and distribution notices
- Provide schedules and documentation for audits and coordinate tax returns
- Maintain and update fund accounting using relevant tools and systems
- Support ad hoc projects
Requirements
- Higher Vocational Diploma (HF) or Bachelor's degree in Banking & Finance or Accounting
- Knowledge of private equity fund investments
- Strong understanding of fund accounting
- Analytical thinking
- Methodical approach
- Strong sense of responsibility
- Customer-oriented
- Experience in quality management
- Knowledge of Swiss investment fund regulation (FINMA)
- IT affinity; proficient in MS Office, Excel, and VBA
- Proficiency in German and English
