About the role
- Development and oversight of payment functions within the core banking system
- Configuration of Avaloq modules and interfaces to external payment systems, including parameterization and scripting (Avaloq Script, PL/SQL)
- Participation in the end-to-end project lifecycle: requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and support
- Investigation and resolution of production payment incidents to ensure high-quality service
- Ensure system changes are thoroughly tested and documented in accordance with internal standards
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development and testing practices
- Maintain clear communication with internal and external counterparties.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Practical experience in Avaloq development
- Initial experience with SIC, euroSIC, SWIFT, SEPA, or Instant Payment processes
- Deep knowledge of the Avaloq core banking system
- Proficiency in Avaloq scripting and PL/SQL
- Experience with Avaloq parameterization and customization
- Familiarity with payment transactions, asset management products, and banking processes
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
