About the role
- Technical customer support throughout the entire product design-in and lifecycle process of software products
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through efficient and reliable 2nd-level support
- Support sales on design-wins and customer projects
- Prepare and deliver product workshops and training for customers, partners and staff
- Create, manage and process customer support tickets using internal databases
- Coordinate communication between customers and 3rd-level software support
- Work closely with internal departments to develop and implement customer-specific solutions
- Conduct customer visits (workshops, enablement, support)
- Provide technical support at trade shows and customer events
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or a comparable technical qualification
- Several years (approx. 5+ years) of professional experience in technical customer support in embedded computing or a similar industry
- Solid technical knowledge of embedded systems with a focus on software
- Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, independent working style
- Good understanding of customer needs and sales-related processes
- Professional communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple customer projects simultaneously
- Experience working independently and in cross-functional teams
- Experience with common computer applications and internal support systems
- Familiarity with relevant guidelines, processes and best practices for technical documentation
