About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provision, configure, and administer OCI Compute, Networking, Storage, IAM, and related resources
- Monitor OCI environment health, performance, capacity utilization, alerts, and infrastructure issues
- Support OCI migrations, including lift-and-shift workloads, resource rightsizing, and post-migration validation
- Implement and maintain OCI security controls, including Cloud Guard, Security Zones, Vault, and NSG policies
- Execute infrastructure patching, OS updates, and OCI platform service upgrades
- Support backup, restore, disaster recovery, cross-region replication, and DR/COOP failover testing
- Collaborate with the DevSecOps Lead on Terraform infrastructure-as-code templates
- Document OCI configurations, runbooks, and standard operating procedures
- Support OCI architecture decisions and migration from legacy Oracle products to OCI-native equivalents
- Participate in sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and infrastructure backlog refinement
- Assist cybersecurity personnel with monitoring, vulnerability remediation, and ATO evidence collection
- Support service management, onboarding, mission partner environment provisioning, and access control management
- Monitor and respond to service quota limits, cost anomalies, and tenancy governance requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- US Citizen
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related technical field; equivalent work experience considered
- 3–5 years of hands-on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) administration experience
- Active Oracle Cloud Infrastructure certification required at time of hire
- Experience provisioning and managing OCI tenancies, compartments, VCNs, and IAM policies
- Experience with OCI Compute, Networking, Storage, IAM, Monitoring, Cloud Guard, Security Zones, OCI Vault, and network security groups
- Experience supporting backup/restore, capacity management, and cloud infrastructure patching
- Familiarity with DoD RMF, ATO processes, and cloud security compliance requirements
- Active DoD Secret clearance required to start and maintainable for the duration of the program
- Active DoD 8140/8570 IAT-II or higher certification required at time of hire
- Qualifying certifications include CompTIA Security+ CE, CompTIA CySA+, GSEC, SSCP, GICSP, CND, or IAT-III equivalents such as CASP+ CE, CISSP, CISA, CCNP Security, GCED, or GCIH
- Preferred: Active Top Secret clearance
- Preferred: Linux server administration, including RHEL or Oracle Linux, hardening, scripting, and performance tuning
- Preferred: Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, Docker, Kubernetes, Oracle Database, Oracle Fusion Middleware, GoldenGate, Active Data Guard, OCI DevOps, OKE, OCI Artifact Registry, OCI Resource Manager, DISA/Cloud One environments, ITIL, DESMF, and DoD ERP programs
- Additional OCI certifications are a strong plus
