Analyst

• Support a client in providing data integration capabilities and develop a modernized transaction processing platform
• Utilize ETL applications and similar tools to enhance reporting capabilities for customer data flows and integrate a new customer portal
• Interview users during the planning phase to understand desired software outcomes
• Document desired capabilities formally and present to software developers to ensure applications meet operators’ requirements
• Identify and prioritize system requirements and document in a software requirements specification including use cases and non-functional requirements
• Create graphic models, mathematical equations, or storyboards to record system requirements
• Communicate with project stakeholders regarding test results and changes to end-product requirements
• Act as primary intermediary between the customer and the development team throughout the project lifecycle
• Confirm requirements reflect end users’ needs and participate in peer reviews of requirements, system design, code, and test cases
• Develop a requirements management plan with a change control process and track requirements from baseline to final verification of functionality
