About the role
- Capture and refine information security requirements
- Ensure requirements are effectively integrated into IT products and information systems through purposeful security architecting, design, development, and configuration
- Employ best practices when implementing security controls within an information system
- Coordinate security-related activities with various positions
- Support systems and maintain DoD IAT Level 2 certification
- Conduct code review to find and fix mistakes and flaws
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, quality of comments, and consistency of overall design
- Manage web-based applications for software lifecycle management
Requirements
- US Citizen
- Active Secret Clearance
- IAT Level II Certification (i.e. CompTIA Security+ Certification)
- Minimum of ten (10) years’ practical in full life cycle web-applications and software development (i.e. software programming/coding, software modification, database management & analysis) and tailored system sustainment
- Minimum five (5) years’ practical software experience in Microsoft IIS Web Server, Cold Fusion language, Java Script, Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) and Structured Query Language (SQL)
