About the role
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Salesforce applications using tools like Selenium, TestNG, or TOSCA
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of Salesforce features and customizations
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into test cases
- Validate Salesforce configurations, workflows, triggers, and APIs
- Ensure test coverage for both standard Salesforce functionality and custom Apex code
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps
- Contribute to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as an SDET or QA Engineer
- 2+ years of hands-on experience testing Salesforce applications
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud
- Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TOSCA, UFT, or similar)
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
- Familiarity with Salesforce data model, Apex, SOQL, and Lightning components
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies and Agile development practices
