About the role
- Manage day-to-day functioning of the facility, ensuring smooth operations.
- Oversee HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and safety systems to keep them in working order.
- Ensure the workplace meets health, safety, and legal standards.
- Organize office layouts, seating, and workspace utilization to maximize efficiency.
- Manage contracts and relationships with external service providers.
- Handle financial planning for maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
- Develop contingency plans for fire, security breaches, or natural disasters.
- Implement energy-saving measures and eco-friendly practices.
- Conduct risk assessments, fire drills, and compliance checks.
- Lead maintenance teams and assign tasks.
Requirements
- Experience in facilities management
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Strong budgeting and planning skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Leadership experience in managing teams
- Ability to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Proficiency in space planning and resource management.
- Fluent in English.
