About the role

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications on the AS400 platform.
  • Perform coding, testing, and debugging using RPG, COBOL, CL , and DB2 .
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Provide production support and troubleshoot issues in AS400 systems.
  • Optimize and enhance existing applications for performance and scalability.
  • Document technical specifications and maintain system integrity.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with AS400/iSeries development
  • Proficiency in RPG (including RPGLE), COBOL, CL , and DB2
  • Ability to perform application development and support (excluding OS management)
  • Experience in analyzing and resolving technical issues in AS400 environments
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle and best practices.
  • Knowledge of CA Plex is a strong advantage.
  • Experience in modernization projects or integration with other platforms.
