About the role
- Provide expertise in Graph Databases, specifically AnzoGraph
- Handle biomedical data types and work with advanced analytics in graph data science
- Collaborate with data engineering teams on ETL/ELT pipelines
- Implement algorithms for community detection and centrality in graph structures
- Contribute to ontology modeling and linked data principles application
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience with Graph Databases
- Deep proficiency in LPG (Labeled Property Graphs) or RDF/Triple Stores
- Proven experience handling biomedical data types (e.g., Gene-Disease associations, Chemical compounds, Patient journeys)
- Strong understanding of Linked Data principles, URI strategies, and ontology modeling
- Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines that feed graphs from unstructured (PDF publications) and structured (EDC, LIMS) sources
- Experience implementing Graph Data Science algorithms (centrality, community detection) or integrating Graphs with Machine Learning
- Familiarity with OBO Foundry, ChEMBL, or Ensembl
- AnzoGraph (MUST HAVE), Neo4j, Stardog, Python, Java, SPARQL, Cypher, or Gremlin
