Administer, operate, and maintain computerized database systems, including database dictionaries, standards, procedures, file structures, and storage management.
Plan and project long-range requirements for database administration and design in coordination with information systems leadership.
Design, develop, implement, and maintain complex databases in a client/server environment, including access methods, performance optimization, storage allocation, security controls, and documentation.
Perform database quality control, auditing, validation, and programming to ensure data accuracy, integrity, appropriate use, and support systems integration and application development.
Advise users on database access, usage, and data availability across client/server systems.
Apply database technologies, development methodologies, and programming languages (e.g., SQL) to support database and system design.

Requirements

Five (5) years of progressive experience with database query languages and platforms, including Oracle, PL/SQL, and SQL Server, and hands-on expertise with Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS).
Experience supporting DoD IT hosting environments, including at least two large-scale projects within enterprise organizations involving the administration, operation, maintenance, and security of databases.
Demonstrated ability to work across multiple operating systems and programming languages in support of database administration, integration, and enterprise system environments.
Active Top Secret Security Clearance.
IA Level: IAT Level II (DoD 8140/8570 compliant), with one or more of the following certifications: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, or GCIH.
Cloud Certification: One of the following: Google Associate Cloud Engineer or Google Professional Cloud Architect.
Database Certification: One of the following: Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle Certified Professional.
