About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support annual report content development and other key organizational publications
- Develop compelling case studies highlighting organizational impact and partner success stories
- Ghostwrite thought leadership articles for executive and subject matter expert contributors
- Conduct interviews with internal stakeholders, nonprofit leaders, and partner organizations
- Translate complex nonprofit and social impact topics into engaging, accessible content
- Adapt writing style to match multiple contributor voices
- Collaborate with communications and leadership teams throughout the editorial process
- Revise content based on stakeholder and editorial feedback
- Maintain accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines
- Deliverable could include: Thought leadership articles, Executive ghostwritten content, Case studies, Annual report content, Website articles, Newsletter content, Strategic communications materials, and/or Social impact storytelling assets.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience working with nonprofits, foundations, associations, or community-focused organizations
- Knowledge of youth development, education, philanthropy, fundraising, or nonprofit operations
- Experience writing content intended for media placement and publication
- Background in strategic communications or public affairs
- Familiarity with LinkedIn thought leadership programs.
