About the role
- Produce tutorials, getting started guides, API documentation, and blog posts aimed at developers
- Audit and rewrite existing technical documentation
- Evaluate and improve API documentation
- Collaborate with client and dev/product teams to ensure technical accuracy
- Conduct implementation-based exercises to simulate end-user experiences
- Take projects from idea to publication with autonomy
Requirements
- Strong background in software development (web or full-stack preferred)
- Experience in technical writing, especially for SaaS and API-based platforms
- Comfortable working with APIs, SDKs, and developer tools
- Ability to evaluate and restructure documentation from a developer's perspective
- Previous work in Developer Relations (DevRel) a plus
- Clear communicator; able to take initiative and work independently
- Comfortable receiving direct feedback and integrating quickly with a team
- Commitment: 70 hours/month
- Initial trial: 3 month commitment
