About the role

  • Revise and update existing regulated training courses for: Alcohol Seller/Server, Food Handler, Food Manager, HACCP.
  • Ensure all course content aligns with current state and federal regulations.
  • Update and document food handler and alcohol laws within course materials.
  • Incorporate precise regulatory language and clarify nuanced legal distinctions (e.g., impairment vs. intoxication).
  • Maintain instructional clarity while ensuring legal and compliance accuracy.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to validate accuracy and completeness.

Requirements

  • Proven experience developing or revising regulated food and beverage training courses.
  • Strong knowledge of: Alcohol Seller/Server laws, Food safety regulations, Food Manager certification requirements, and HACCP standards.
  • Ability to interpret and document regulatory language accurately.
  • Familiarity with compliance-driven instructional design.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, particularly in legal and regulatory nuance.
  • Experience working as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in food and beverage compliance preferred.
