About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, maintain and optimize data pipelines (ETL/ELT) in cloud environments
  • Work on data modeling and structuring of databases for analytical consumption
  • Ensure data quality, consistency and traceability
  • Support data integrations via REST APIs and cloud services
  • Work with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially BigQuery
  • Support data migration initiatives to cloud environments (BigQuery or Microsoft Fabric)
  • Contribute to the evolution of data processes, performance and technical best practices
  • Collaborate with technical and business teams to understand requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong experience in Data Engineering
  • Advanced SQL and data modeling (including source-to-target mapping structures)
  • Building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines in cloud environments
  • Experience with Python for automation and data processing
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including:
  • BigQuery
  • Cloud Functions
  • Cloud SQL
  • Cloud Storage
  • System integration via REST APIs and Google Apigee
  • Experience with Data Lake and Lakehouse architectures
  • Experience migrating data to BigQuery and/or Microsoft Fabric
  • Knowledge of data governance and end-to-end data lineage/traceability
  • Experience optimizing performance and cost in analytical environments (FinOps applied to data)
