Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze cases of medical procedures and their approval/denial outcomes, comparing them with medical feedback to identify inconsistencies and propose adjustments to the model's rules.
Evaluate model approval decisions (approved vs. denied);
Compare decisions with medical feedback and justifications;
Identify divergences between written rules and clinical practice;
Review and adjust the model's written rules;
Document changes and the clinical/analytical rationale;
Suggest improvements to increase accuracy and consistency;
Support the standardization of decision criteria;
Use SQL for querying, manipulating, and analyzing data related to approval and audit processes;
Work with BigQuery to extract, process, and analyze large volumes of data;
Develop analyses and automations in Python to optimize processes and improve operational efficiency;
Handle large volumes of information, ensuring performance, reliability, and quality in analyses;

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in data analysis or process review;
Experience with SQL for querying, manipulating, and analyzing data;
Experience with BigQuery for extracting, processing, and analyzing large volumes of data;
Knowledge of Python applied to data analysis and automation;
Ability to work with large volumes of information, ensuring performance and reliability in analyses;
Knowledge of data quality, including validation, consistency, integrity, and monitoring of information;
Experience validating decision models and analytical criteria, ensuring consistency and reliability of results;
Experience preparing technical and analytical documentation in a structured and organized manner;
Strong ability to interpret and analyze technical texts, including medical reports and opinions;
Experience working with healthcare data, health plans/operators, medical audit, regulation, or insurance;
Familiarity with medical reports, clinical opinions, protocols, or clinical guidelines;
Experience with automated decision models;
Background in quality review, rule validation, or continuous process improvement;
Familiarity with LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law), privacy, and handling sensitive data, especially health data;
