About the role
- Maintain active relationships with Brazilian and North American press
- Prospect journalists, outlets and editorial opportunities aligned with the brand’s positioning and new phase
- Develop, write and propose strategic story ideas
- Produce press releases, pitches, press notes and institutional content in Portuguese and English
- Conduct follow-ups with journalists and manage press inquiries
- Support the organization and execution of interviews, press conferences and relationship-building activities
- Monitor publications and mentions of the brand across different media channels
- Prepare clipping reports, qualitative analyses and performance metrics
- Prepare and deliver media training for leaders, including Q&A, briefings and supporting materials
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, leadership and other stakeholders
Requirements
- Degree in Journalism, Social Communication or Public Relations
- Previous, proven experience in press relations / media relations
- Intermediate/advanced English, with strong writing and speaking skills
- Experience in writing, editing and proofreading journalistic content
- Excellent organization, time management and attention to detail
- Ability to work in dynamic environments and manage multiple priorities
- Proactive profile, with strong communication, autonomy and a sense of responsibility
- Differentials
- Experience with international accounts or working with foreign press
