Complete required board training

Voting members hold full governance authority and fiduciary responsibility
Participate in nomination, application, vetting, board vote, and NYSED approval processes
Meet with at least two current board members and the School Leader
Support submission of required candidate materials to NYSED

Voting members require NYSED approval before appointment
Voting candidates must provide a resume and documentation of highest education level to NYSED
Voting candidates must complete a Background Information Form, Statement of Assurance, and Disclosure of Financial Interest form
Voting candidates must undergo criminal history record check via fingerprinting
Voting candidates must have credentials verified
