About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Advise and support requesting departments in their procurement projects
Manage procurement projects through to completion, including drafting administrative documents
Monitor the bid evaluation phase and manage negotiations
Provide support for handling any events affecting contracts or procurement
Help promote a culture of procurement and public contracting
Integrate innovative approaches into procurement projects
Develop new tools and software incorporating artificial intelligence
Lead the service’s internal and external communication

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master's degree (Bac +5) in public law, procurement or equivalent
Professional experience in a similar role would be an asset
Knowledge of public procurement regulations and public accounting
Proficiency with IT and office software
Strong writing, analytical and synthesis skills
Interpersonal skills, negotiation ability and persuasiveness
Proactive individual who enjoys taking initiative
