About the role
- Advise and support requesting departments in their procurement projects
- Manage procurement projects through to completion, including drafting administrative documents
- Monitor the bid evaluation phase and manage negotiations
- Provide support for handling any events affecting contracts or procurement
- Help promote a culture of procurement and public contracting
- Integrate innovative approaches into procurement projects
- Develop new tools and software incorporating artificial intelligence
- Lead the service’s internal and external communication
Requirements
- Master's degree (Bac +5) in public law, procurement or equivalent
- Professional experience in a similar role would be an asset
- Knowledge of public procurement regulations and public accounting
- Proficiency with IT and office software
- Strong writing, analytical and synthesis skills
- Interpersonal skills, negotiation ability and persuasiveness
- Proactive individual who enjoys taking initiative
