About the role

  • Oversee a portfolio of strategic initiatives including multi-year enterprise-wide IT and Delivery projects
  • Support execution of various IT Delivery in partnership with other Leaders
  • Drive end-to-end project delivery, from estimation and business case approval through execution
  • Partner with cross-organizational stakeholders to drive process improvement and optimization efforts
  • Own maturation of the estimation process and tools for new Programs and Products
  • Create and actively maintain the project plan and cross functional dependencies
  • Continuously monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
  • Keep senior management advised of significant trends, emerging risks and other issues
  • Provide recommendations and drive issue resolution
  • Facilitate team meetings and key Agile ceremonies
  • Manage day-to-day activities related to managing one or more projects from initiation through completion
  • Contribute to the continued maturation of the project management methodology, best practice frameworks and related tools
  • Support Enterprise level initiative planning, prioritization and budgeting process

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 8 years of project management experience working in a large-scale IT production and development environment
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Agile methodologies
  • Previous experience managing large, complex, highly cross functional software development efforts is required
  • Strong project management skills (schedule development and management, meeting facilitation, execution monitoring, status reporting, and risk management)
  • Ability to produce and deliver Executive level presentations via PowerPoint
  • Experience working in Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid environments
  • Strong achievement orientation and attention to details
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced, matrix environment
  • Ability to collect/analyze data and formulate business recommendations for senior management
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to create presentation materials for Executive audience
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor others on team
  • Proficiency with key MS products (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and Agile Portfolio management tools such as JIRA
  • Top tier management consulting industry background preferred
  • Experience with bid / estimation processes for new custom development efforts preferred.
