About the role
- Active daily result check of the nightly batch runs from 6:00 a.m.
- Analysis of production problems and responsibility for incident and problem management
- Work with the team to resolve issues
- Support the team in testing and production operations
- Responsibility for the production-related part of the test environment
- Create, edit and review relevant documents for the operation of our products
- Monitor compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and create required documentation
- Support users through data retrieval, analysis and product deployment
- Processing of inquiries about operational aspects of our products
Requirements
- Strong problem-solving attitude and analytical skills
- Very good knowledge of design, development and operation of mainframe applications with excellent knowledge of z/OS, COBOL, DB2
- Proficient in the use of the mainframe development and deployment tools (COBOL programs, control cards, OPC, DB2, utilities, SQL, DB2 Catalog Manager, Aqua Data Studio, Rumba …)
- Experience with agile working methods (Scrum, Kanban) and Atlassian Tools (Jira & Confluence)
- Very good analytical, conceptual and solution-oriented thinking and working
- Strong customer and service orientation as well as the willingness to work independently
- Team spirit and quality awareness
- A good command of spoken and written German and English.
