About the role

  • Develop and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines;
  • Integrate data from different sources and ensure data quality, consistency, and security;
  • Implement data storage systems such as lakehouses;
  • Optimize data ingestion and transformation processes;
  • Monitor and improve the performance and efficiency of data systems;
  • Collaborate with data visualization teams and data analysts to help extract value from information;
  • Analyze the operation of internal systems with respect to company data and create strategies for capture, transport, and processing of information;
  • Design and structure data pipelines;
  • Assist in the management of data storage systems;
  • Optimize data ingestion and transformation processes;
  • Assist in domain data modeling.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Data Engineer (Mid or Senior level);
  • Strong knowledge of SQL;
  • Hands-on experience with Python for data manipulation and processing;
  • Experience building and maintaining data pipelines;
  • Knowledge of data modeling (relational and/or non-relational);
  • Experience with databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Firebird;
  • Familiarity with data orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow);
  • Ability to work with large volumes of data and multiple sources.
  • Experience with Snowflake;
  • Knowledge of DBT (Data Build Tool);
  • Experience with Airbyte;
  • Experience with Kafka (messaging/event streaming);
  • Experience in modern data environments (Data Lakehouse, ELT, etc.);
  • Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices;
  • Experience with code versioning (Git) applied to data projects.
