About the role
- Maintain solid customer relationships by handling customer inquiries and concerns
- Provide service to existing clients related to updating policies, providing quotes, taking payments, and answering questions
- Resolve product or service issues by clarifying the customer's concern
- Review policies; verify accuracy and facilitate corrections
- Maintain records of customer interactions and transactions
- Collaborate with team members and mentor staff
Requirements
- Hold a Personal Lines insurance license required by your state
- Minimum of five years personal lines insurance account management experience
- Bachelor's Degree or comparable work experience
- Strong knowledge of insurance products and usages, rating procedures, underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry operations
- Strong customer focus and excellent phone manner
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent math and reading skills
- Sense of urgency, attention to detail, organization, multi-tasking, and follow-up skills
- Technology and computer proficiency including agency management systems, rating tools, and carrier website navigation
