About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide specialized and technical support to Commercial Card company administrators and cardholders
- Support Bank sales teams through technical expertise, company builds, and ongoing maintenance
- Act as liaison with internal Associates for all credit card products
- Assist Commercial Card Consultants, Treasury Management Consultants, and Relationship Managers with client implementation
- Participate in discussions about commercial card products and services
- Attend occasional sales calls when technical product demonstrations are needed
- Ensure implementation and delivery of products and services within agreed timeframes
- Prepare Commercial credit card programs for processing
- Verify applications and supporting documentation
- Build company information, including sublevels, cards, and administrative access, in relevant systems
- Conduct product and system training via webinar for program administrators
- Provide follow-up support and additional training to company program administrators
- Maintain existing company accounts through maintenance requests and authorized updates
- Maintain compliance with bank regulations, policies, procedures, and required training
- Keep current with Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security, and other applicable regulations
- May coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as a subject matter expert
- Foster Columbia corporate culture and demonstrate personal initiative
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma/GED (preferred)
- Associate, vocational, or technical degree in accounting or another related field (preferred)
- 2–4 years of financial services/customer service experience with a history in credit card operations or a related field (Required)
- Intermediate understanding of credit card transaction processes, payment systems, laws, and association rules and regulations
- Intermediate understanding of credit, underwriting, and banking procedures
- Proficiency in Columbia products preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of documentation and servicing requirements
- Ability to produce detailed, accurate results in a high-stress, deadline- and goal-oriented environment
- Strong analytical, math, problem solving, organizational, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
- Self-starter with ability to work independently and remote
- Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, database, and industry-specific software applications
- Ability to work fully onsite at posted location(s)
- Occasional travel required
