About the role
- Provide therapeutic counselling to individuals ages 12+ who have experienced sexual assault and sexual abuse as well as their loved ones/support people, in person or via telehealth
- Conduct a variety of risk assessments, including suicide, domestic violence, child welfare, and shelter/safety
- Complete various responsibilities of clinical case management, including case notes, supporting documentation, consultation, and referrals
- Participate in individual as well as team supervision
- May provide crisis intervention, information, and referrals on CCASA’s Support & Information Line
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in a Master of Social Work (Clinical Specialization) or Master of Counselling program
- Must be able to be supervised by a Social Worker (MSW)
- Successful candidates must satisfy and receive clear results for a Criminal Record Check and Child Welfare Check.
