About the role
- Execute a go-to-market strategy to sell our health plan administration solutions directly to 'Payviders' (health systems that own or administer their own health plans) and support Sales in closing hospital customers
- Identify key decision-makers and drive the sales cycle of business development initiatives focusing on systems in need of operational efficiency
- Clearly articulate how our capabilities provide a competitive advantage and partner with product teams to advocate for new features that meet the needs of this market
- Work with Sales, Marketing, and other teams to ensure a unified go-to-market strategy and provide market feedback to improve service delivery
- Equip commercial and product teams with insight to support closing and onboarding provider systems clients
- Directly contribute to revenue growth by expanding distribution and bringing provider systems clients onto new channels, in partnership with cross-functional teams
Requirements
- A deep understanding of the U.S. healthcare landscape, including the unique operational models, product capabilities, financial drivers, and strategic objectives of health systems that act as both providers and payers
- Proven success in selling complex solutions to large health systems
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing a growth team
- 15+ years of experience in sales, business development, or strategic partnerships within the healthcare industry, with a direct focus on selling to hospitals, health systems, or provider-sponsored health plans
- Demonstrated experience with health plan operations, particularly in the commercial sector
- Strong grasp of the commercial health insurance market, including employer-sponsored and ACA plans
- Ability to identify client pain points and position our platform as a solution
- Strong collaborator and influencer, capable of working with various internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Requires travel 20% of time
