About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare technical and cost proposals
- Design basic municipal infrastructure projects such as Site development plans, Earthwork, and contouring, Sanitary sewers, Stormwater systems, Drainage Plans
- Prepare permit applications
- Prepare design packages and assist with preparing construction bid documents, reviewing submittals, and preparing cost estimates
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and scope of work in a team atmosphere and mentor junior staff
- Provide QA/QC on project deliverables
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelors or higher in Civil or Environmental Engineering desired
- Must hold current state license or be willing to obtain
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively and have a positive attitude
- Attention to details, time management, and organization
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- AutoCAD and/or MicroStation competency
- Experience with site grading, site design and associated permitting
- HEC-RAS, HydroCAD or other water resource-related programs experience
- Fluent with Microsoft, Word, and Excel
