Key responsibilities & impact

Evaluation and treatment of impairments including all areas of speech and language, executive functioning, cognitive needs, dysphagia, and augmentative communication needs
Work with interdisciplinary teams to create integrated treatment plans that are practiced in patients' homes and communities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completion of Master’s degree in Speech Pathology and state licensure is required
Certificate of clinical competence from ASHA
Experience in the treatment of neurologically related disorders is strongly preferred
Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time management skills are required
Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers is a must.
