About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide truly patient-centered care in McKinney, TX and surrounding areas
- Evaluation and treatment of impairments including all areas of speech and language, executive functioning, cognitive needs, dysphagia, and augmentative communication needs
- Work with interdisciplinary teams to create integrated treatment plans that are practiced in patients' homes and communities
- Utilize evidence-based approaches to achieve durable outcomes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completion of Master’s degree in Speech Pathology and state licensure is required
- Certificate of clinical competence from ASHA
- Experience in the treatment of neurologically related disorders is strongly preferred
- Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time management skills are required
- Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers is a must.
