Key responsibilities & impact- Evaluation and treatment of impairments including all areas of speech and language
- Addressing executive functioning, cognitive needs, dysphagia, and augmentative communication needs
- Providing patient-centered care in Denton, TX and surrounding areas
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to create integrated treatment plans
- Practicing evidence-based approaches for durable outcomes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completion of Master’s degree in Speech Pathology
- State licensure is required
- Certificate of clinical competence from ASHA
- Experience in the treatment of neurologically related disorders is strongly preferred
- Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time management skills
- Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers
