Key responsibilities & impact

Evaluation and treatment of impairments including all areas of speech and language
Executive functioning, cognitive needs, dysphagia, and augmentative communication needs
Work one-on-one with patients in their homes and communities
Create integrated treatment plans with interdisciplinary teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completion of Master’s degree in Speech Pathology
State licensure required
Certificate of clinical competence from ASHA
Experience in the treatment of neurologically related disorders strongly preferred
Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time management skills required
Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers is a must
