About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Evaluation and treatment of impairments in speech and language
- Addressing executive functioning, cognitive needs, dysphagia, and augmentative communication needs
- Working one-on-one with patients in their homes and communities
- Building skills in the patient's own environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completion of Master’s degree in Speech Pathology
- State licensure required
- Certificate of clinical competence from ASHA
- Experience in treatment of neurologically related disorders preferred
- Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time management skills
- Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers
