About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Evaluation and treatment of impairments, including lower extremity function, mobility, vestibular skills, adaptive equipment needs, and environmental safety needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program required
- Bachelor's or Master's in the same discipline preferred
- Must be certified in the state of California
- Knowledge of physical therapy principles, standards, and practices, how to use the physical therapy equipment, and OSHA and infection control regulations required
- Experience in the treatment of neurologically related physical disorders is strongly preferred
- Excellent planning, organizational, writing, and time management skills are required
- Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers is a must
- A valid driver's license is required
