Recreational Therapist, CTRS – Part-Time
Collage Rehabilitation PartnersRecreational Therapist providing exceptional neurological rehabilitation services for patients in their homes. Focusing on patient-centered care through interdisciplinary treatment planning and execution.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Evaluation, treatment, and education of neuro-rehab patients
- Planning, organizing, and coordination of recreation activities
- Assess capabilities/interests/barriers
- Monitor progress and recommend changes/modifications to the program as required
- Perform home assessments and assist the patients with the transition to home and community
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completion of Bachelor's in Therapeutic Recreation and CTRS designation is required
- Experience in the treatment of neurologically related disorders is strongly preferred
- Excellent planning, organization, writing and time management skills are required
- Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers is a must
