Key responsibilities & impact

Build customer experience platforms powering customer service and compliance processes for CX agents
Architect and deliver distributed backend systems and foundational infrastructure components
Define strategic roadmaps and lead technical direction with engineering management and stakeholders
Translate ambiguous problems into architectural plans with measurable outcomes
Build and scale high-reliability services that streamline CX agent workflows and compliance processes
Own end-to-end delivery from design through production deployment
Mentor engineers on design techniques, coding standards, testing practices, and operational best practices
Partner cross-functionally across time zones to identify platform improvements and foresee potential issues
Communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical leaders

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of software engineering experience
Ability to architect and deliver distributed systems solving ambiguous, high-impact problems
Deep proficiency in Go (Golang)
Experience building scalable, high-traffic backend services in production
API development with gRPC and GraphQL
Event-driven architectures using Kafka and MQ
SQL or NoSQL databases
Cloud infrastructure and DevOps tooling including AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines (BuildKite or similar)
Experience with rate limiters, caching, load balancing, circuit breakers, and observability including metrics, logging, and tracing
Track record of leading technical projects end-to-end, mentoring engineers, and influencing architectural decisions across teams without direct authority
Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and measurable workflow improvements
