About the role
- Build new platform features to meet critical security and compliance needs using Golang
- Develop high-quality, thoroughly tested code to enhance Coinbase's security posture
- Simplify the deployment, ownership, operation, and diagnosis of systems and products
- Design scalable systems to grow from hundreds to thousands of services using modern cloud technology
- Work with engineers, security analysts and senior leadership to turn product and technical vision into roadmaps
- Serve as a direct communication channel for Coinbase developers using platform solutions; provide design input and debugging assistance
- Support entitlements synchronization from internal data store to SaaS applications and bootstrap internal tools with authentication and authorization controls
Requirements
- Designed, built, scaled and maintained production services
- Experience composing a service-oriented architecture
- Strong system design and coding skills; write high quality, well tested code
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for developing state-of-the-art, mission-critical security controls
- Proficiency in Golang
- Experience collaborating with engineers, security analysts and senior leadership to turn product and technical vision into a roadmap
- Willingness to participate in in-person offsites and company events
- Nice to haves: experience with greenfield projects; Identity and Access Management domain; building developer-facing platforms
